Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance
By registering and using heyMecanic (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. The service
heyMecanic is a SaaS platform for auto repair shop management that enables voice-based work order creation, inventory management, quote generation, and repair tracking. The service is provided under a monthly subscription model.
3. Registration and account
To use the Platform you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform solely for legitimate shop management purposes. It is prohibited to use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activities, to harm third parties, or to attempt to access other shops' data.
5. Subscription and payments
Subscription plans are billed monthly in the currency stated at the time of contracting. In the event of non-payment, access to the Platform may be suspended. Processed payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
6. Shop data
You retain ownership of the data you upload to the Platform (vehicles, clients, work orders, etc.). You grant us a license to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
7. Artificial intelligence
The Platform uses AI (voice transcription and assistance) to facilitate management. AI-generated results are suggestions and should not be interpreted as definitive technical or legal diagnoses. The shop is responsible for the final content of work orders.
8. Availability
We strive to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance may occur with prior notice. We are not liable for interruptions beyond our control.
9. Intellectual property
All rights to the Platform, its design, code and brand belong to heyMecanic. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of the service without our express authorization.
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, heyMecanic will not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, or lost profits arising from the use or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid in the last 3 months.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms with 15 days' prior notice communicated by email. Continued use of the Platform after notice implies acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Montevideo, Uruguay.
